What will be the scope of work?
∙ Purchase of components and materials for production from Europe, Asia, and North America
∙ Checking the delivery process
∙ Inventory optimization
∙ Handling complaints
∙ Cooperation with colleagues from the logistics department
∙ Analyzes (FIFO, KANBAN, LEAN, ABC) and regular reporting
∙ Everyday communication in English with foreign suppliers and colleagues from the parent company
What else should you know?
You will work in a team of six buyers in the department. In total, the department consists of 20 prime colleagues. As part of the training, you will go on a business trip to the parent company.
What is the candidate we would like to meet?
∙ Has a high school / university education
∙ Has excellent knowledge of English – for daily oral and written communication
∙ Has to experience in purchasing wood, steel, plastics, and similar materials from global suppliers
∙ Very good control of work on a PC (MS Office, MRP, MFP-Pro, or SAP)
∙ He is communicative and has good negotiating skills
