One of the largest European manufacturers of springs for industry, an international company with extensive activities in development, production, distribution, and customer support, with branches in the Czech Republic, Poland, India, the Netherlands, France, Slovakia, and Romania with approximately 350 employees worldwide, welcomes in Brno production plant a new manager in the position of OPERATIONS DIRECTOR.

Production and technology: R&D, serial, and custom production of smaller metal components, CNC machining, bending, grinding, winding, pressing, forming, thermal processing
Supplies to industry: aerospace, agro-industry, construction, consumer goods, industry, engineering, automotive and moto-corss, industry in general
Company size: medium-sized company, international
Number of employees: 350 all branches, 73 in Brno
Place of performance: Brno

ACTIVITIES AT THE POSITION:

management of the production plant in Brno and maximizing productivity, quality, customer and employee satisfaction
direct management of Czech production management, technology and production planning, quality and warehouse team, sheltered workshops, indirect management of business, HR and finance management
responsibility for production results and processes, focusing on meeting customer requirements, legal requirements, all in accordance with internal processes and procedures
planning and decision-making on long-term strategic goals and business plan of the production plant in Brno together with closer corporate management
approval and compliance with the financial budget of the plant
setting strategies and goals (KPIs) and responsibility for their implementation
financial results reporting, cash flow monitoring and investment analysis
responsibility for minimizing costs and implementing cost-saving measures
support for solving major problems with products / projects / processes, ensuring audits in responsible areas
compliance with health and safety regulations, internal regulations, valid legislative standards.

WE EXPECT FROM A SUITABLE CANDIDATE:

university technical education
at least 7 years of experience in production management
experience from the international production environment, small to medium-sized companies
advanced English language
knowledge of finance, budgeting, quality, maintenance, legislation
active driver
the advantage is experience with production transfers and company mergers
technical thinking and interest in technology in general
inspiring and motivating personality, natural leader with the ability to communicate openly
