SALES MANAGER – Mechanical Engineering – Gearboxes

Place of work: Czech Republic
The seat of the company is in Ostrava, but it is not tied to the position of Sales Manager, who will travel. He should attend a meeting in Ostrava approximately once a week.

Start date: immediately or by agreement
We will wait for a suitable candidate even if he is bound by a notice period.

Sales Manager will perform the following activities:
Sales of gearboxes for industry, especially atypical gearboxes
Active acquisition and business activities, with the aim of developing business opportunities and gaining new customers in the Czech Republic, Europe and in the world
Creation of business strategies for entering new markets and their implementation
Sales Manager has the full support of production, design and construction offices, but also a service centre
He works independently, has no subordinates, but is part of a smaller sales team (7 salespeople) and will be directly subordinate to the sales director
Responsibility for creating and caring for one’s own business clientele
Business negotiation and control of custom contract documentation and contractual negotiations
Preparation of offers and price calculations
Design and preparation of business and marketing activities for specific locations

What do we expect from a suitable candidate?
Business experience in the field of mechanical engineering is a must, approximately 5 years
Min. secondary technical education or internship as a salesman in engineering
Experience with custom production
Orientation in drawing documentation
Own network of business contacts
Client orientation and company economic result
English at B2 level (knowledge of German, Russian or other foreign language an advantage)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Active driver (group B)
