Founded in 1998, Erwin Quarder Inc. is a subsidiary of EQ Group, headquartered in Germany and based in Michigan, USA.
The company with highly automated production technologies produces mechatronic plastic injection moulded parts for the automotive and medical industries. Supplies TIER 1, 2 and OEM customers globally. The company is also active in the development of E-Mobility applications and power electronic applications with research activities in Europe and China.
Other manufacturing locations are in Mexico, Germany (HQ), the Czech Republic, China. Esteemed customers include BMW, Bosch, Toyota, VW and others.

  • Creating and managing projects from order acceptance to production line start-up, responsibility for project schedule, cost and feasibility.
  • Leading a team of 8 project managers
  • Creating technical designs and solutions for new injection molding automated production lines for mass production of plastic and mechatronic auto parts, also tooling
  • Ensuring implementation of designs and technical solutions for new projects (80%) and for existing projects (20%), implementation of production equipment up to mass production start-up
  • Implementation of manufacturing projects for Tier 1 and OEM customers on a global level
  • Ensuring the flow of information between customers and implementation teams, meeting with customers and improving processes to ensure the highest standards of product quality for customers
  • Reviewing contract and project documents
  • Working closely with the design and development, manufacturing, quality and sales departments


  • German citizenship
  • University degree in engineering, mechanical engineering
  • 10 years of experience in design – preferably designing and developing manufacturing equipment
  • Experience in injection molding, automated, mass production
  • 5 years of experience in automotive, with EOM and Tier 1 deliveries
  • 5 years of experience leading teams in design, development, project management
  • English language – professional level for daily communication
  • Willingness to relocate long term to the USA, State of Michigan
  • Team player able to follow a common company goal who enjoys fair-play
